Consultation
TiGRE Project 1 is applying for a Development Consent Order (DCO) and is required to consult with relevant stakeholders and the wider public during the application process. You can find out more about the DCO application process and the requirements for consultation here:

We have been consulting with key stakeholders on this project since 2017 and will continue to do so as we prepare our application, which we intend to submit to the Planning Inspectorate in 2019.
Consultation will take place in two phases:
- An informal phase (now) where we continue to make stakeholders, statutory consultees and other potentially interested parties aware of the Project. During this phase we welcome thoughts and input to help us shape the Project and to understand its potential effects on the environment.
- A formal phase where we will seek input from statutory and non-statutory consultees, relevant local authorities and those with an interest in the [land] affected by the Project as well as the wider community. We will issue information about the Project and its predicted environmental impacts for consultation and feedback during this phase. We anticipate formal consultation in early 2019 and will shortly issue a Statement of Community Consultation (SOCC) to explain our plans for consulting with the wider community during this phase.
You can monitor progress of our application on the Planning Inspectorate’s website, where you can also access key application documents.
